A Walk Through the Types of Shirts Available

For the longest time, people have had this misconception regarding men’s fashion that it’s not broad enough, a tad bit boring maybe. However, not many people are aware of the diversity that lies in the men’s wardrobe. It generally doesn’t get that much attention to detail. But over the years, we have seen the trends changing, and now the market is exclusively available with various shirt categories. Yet, many people are still confused and unaware of the types of shirts out there, so we thought we’ll make it easier by listing down for once and all.

They are sharply defined by their crisp collars, solid colors, long sleeves, often with a double cuff. Although they are now available in patterns also but the classic formal shirts still come in the typical white, pink, blue colors.

Business casual can feel like a tricky dress code. As the term is very ambiguously defined. It is the dressing where you are better off dressing too formally than erring and keep it too casual. But the ideal balance would be for a shirt most likely which has stripes or checks but that which has elements of formal wear to it like a crisp collar. Goes really well with a blazer and chinos.

Generally associated with youth, street wear fashion is more edgy and funky. It is loaded with pop culture references which is why mostly young people prefer it. It is great when you are hanging down the road with your buddies or out for shopping.

Partywear shirt 

The need to wear something sexy and hot was always there and these partywear shirts have existed for a long time but it’s only a few decades ago when partywear shirts were brought in the mainstream fashion line. Their popularity has since grown. They mostly have quite a bit of sheen to them so that it fits perfectly for the party theme. So now you know what to wear for a party!

Casual shirt 

They have less rigid collar as compared to a formal shirt. Plus, it’s not necessary they will always have a collar, they also come in mandarin or buttoned-down collars. Goes really well with jeans and trainers.
